The European Jewish Congress adopted the support resolution at the request Mr. Aurel Vainer, the President of the Federation of the Romanian Jewish Communities ( FCER) and member in the Romanian Parliament as representative of the Jewish Community. Mr Aurel Vainer participated at the meeting of the EJC General Assembly as the representative of Romania. Hopping that the Romanian authorities will
ensure the implementation of measures required
for effectively combat and reduce negative
phenomena still present within the Romanian
society, MCA Romania joins the call issued
by EJC and by Mr Aurel Vainer for supporting
the accession of Romania into the European
Union in January 2007.
