"The Museum represents a pious homage brought to the generation that were before us and a message over time for the future generations. The Museum confesses the loyality the Jewish population to Romania, the attachement to the Romanian culture. This real house of learning reveals in the same time the centuries' testimony of intense learning that developed in these places and also the presence of some monsters of the Jewish thought: writers, poets, artists, painters, science men, promotors of the rebirth of the Jewish people, and concludently reprezents the weight of the Jews in Romania in the culture of the Jewish people generally."
